We Are Finally Here!

By here, I mean reaching the point where I feel comfortable with the amount of work we have released and the progress we have made, to the point where I truly hope we are providing a substantial amount of value to all of you.

I'm not kidding when I tell you, this has been one of the craziest seasons of my life so far. But I am proud. I'm proud of Adam, I'm proud of Glenn, and I'm proud of myself for what we've been able to put together in such a short time frame. And I just wanted to start out by thanking the team.

We are going to be turning on the paywall sometime in the very near future. This is something that is good news for us (Specifically Adam LOL). But some of you might not feel the same way. So, just so you know, watch out for my next technical updates article. I'm most likely walking through exactly how you will be able to claim your grandfathered rate. For those of you who may have missed it, yes, you will be keeping the grandfathered rate that Adam has promised you for so long.

Now let's get into the good stuff.

Rocket Chat Is Back

Those of you who have been active on the chat board certainly know by now that we have updated our chat system and launched GNG Chat, Powered by Rocket Chat. I encourage you to go check it out if you have not already. But here are a couple of updates:

• Currently, within Rocket Chat, it uses your name as your username. This is a bug, and I will fix it in the near future to use the username that you have entered. For those that didn't enter a username, you will be assigned one. If you are not comfortable with your name being on display for everybody, please view the screenshot below to see the proper way you can go through and change it.

Step 1: select the icon in the top left corner of the screen that has a letter in it.

• We have several channels in here for different designated purposes that I feel like are pretty self-explanatory, but in case you're curious, here's what's done in each chat.

  • GNG-Research: General chat room for typical discussions involving stocks.

  • Ask-Adam: Questions targeted specifically for Adam's analysis, but please note there will be a delay in answering since most of the attention is directed to the main chat room.

  • Connors-Cave: IMO the fastest way to get a bug fixed: Drop a message, tag me. (I don’t leave it, ever.)

  • general: I promised you transparency, and for transparency's sake, I will say that I did not mean to leave General active, but it is, so I guess I'll leave it LOL. General topics.

  • Customer-Support: this is where you can get help the fastest. Tag any staff member, and they will reach out to me accordingly.

  • Model-Portfolios: this is where Glenn, Adam, and I will post in public updates on portfolios and have open discussion regarding why decisions were made.

  • Ask-Glenn: This is where you can ask Glenn questions on one of the 500 areas that he has a specific and niche expertise in, and somehow is the best in the field.

Another really awesome thing about Rocket Chat is that you can configure your notifications. So whenever somebody tags you in a message, you'll get an email and know that it's there.

If you can't tell, I spent a large amount of time on this, and I was very excited to tell everyone. So I ask you, if you are reading this, please use it. It took me a long time, and I think it could provide everybody a lot of value. Thanks, haha.

The Options Screener

I know I've already touched on this in the past, but I don't think people understand yet the power and scale behind it. So I made a few little tweaks and features to easily show you what we are now capable of.

The database now has over 1 million contracts across a large coverage of tickers that will be growing very soon. Currently, each individual contract has a short history along with all the Greeks, metrics, and valuation methodology. You can quite literally query, sort, and explore all 1 million contracts in one place to find which best suits your needs.

On top of that, I have compiled five queries that I think everyone would benefit from at least viewing and understanding off the bat. We will be limiting the amount of data that one is allowed to export on a daily basis in the near future, and it will be a different amount for each tier. If you have time, go check it out and run your first query by selecting the button that says GNG queries and using one of my presents.

Within every individual strategy that we have pre-designed, there is a learn option. This will run you through:

• The Strategy Overview

• The typical win rate and returns, (note that none of this is financial advice and you must do independent research before making any investment decisions or. Just wanted to put that out there. We do not offer investment advice at any point or in any future on this platform.

• How to use it, why it works, key metrics involved, best practices step-by-step guide for strategy implementation, if you decide it's a good fit for you.

• A few examples of how the strategy works and real examples to walk you through the math.

• The typical risk profile for the type of strategy.

And please feel free to play around with it. Once you do run one of our queries, you can then select the 'Filter' button and tweak/edit it as you please. If you find anything very interesting or successful that has worked for you or in backtesting, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or anyone on the team. We are all nerds here and we love learning about it.

I think it is important to know, though, that this tool was initially designed and targeted for more sophisticated investors and for institutional investors. But I do hope that you find use in it and get value out of it. It's so much data, for SPY options alone, we have 6.4M unique datapoints. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

The Research Terminal

I know this one has been long awaited, and I hate to tell you this, but I will one last time. I'm not entirely done yet. We currently have 68 metrics, and I suspect by the time this is done, it will never be done; it will always be ongoing and evolving. By the time I feel comfortable with this as well, we will be somewhere north of 250-300 metrics per company.

For example, we have revision history on earnings estimates, earnings estimates, different time series data, different rate of change data, momentum data, calculated analytics, custom GNG scores and custom targets that we will be releasing soon. Everything is done on my end except for coding in the targets. It shouldn't be much longer.

You will be able to export this data on a limited basis into a sheet for those of you who desire that. We also have in January our custom Google Sheets add-on, so you can automatically query our database if you are a Pro member or higher.

You can enable and disable the data metric columns by using the columns button at the top right corner of the screen. Also next to it is the filters button where you can filter, sort, and query by every metric and eventually even our targets and ratings.

Please let me know if you have any issues or bugs when it comes to this tool. Just so everybody is aware, this is the first time I'm announcing this, but later on, we will also have commodities tracker and hopefully also crypto tracker. I have the data, but it's taken me this long to get the two other trackers up and running.

For transparency sake, I have to double-check our licensing agreements to ensure I can actually display the other two's data legally. But I just wanted to let everybody know that that is something that is on my radar, and I would also appreciate if you would comment below if you think a cryptos and commodities screener would actually benefit you or if this would be a waste of my time.

Notifications

lastly, I just wanted to mention that the notifications tab is now fully operational and functional. If you have a favorite author or favorite model portfolio you'd like to follow, you may receive email alerts by turning on the proper settings here. You can choose individual authors or portfolios, which is a new small touch. I wanted to let everybody know in case they left these toggled off and didn’t mean to.

What’s Next?

Unfortunately, after I've tidied up the research terminal, the next thing that we'll be releasing is some form of subscriptions and paywalls. It is always a tricky situation on how to configure and price everything. But I think we have been transparent to the best of our capabilities throughout this entire process. Once this is released, everybody will be notified via email (assuming you have my email notifications enabled) with instructions on what we're doing, how we're doing it, why, and best practices. Also, how to get that grandfathered rate.

Thank you, Adam, again for the trust that you have in me. Not only a few months ago, none of this existed. Now, it's safe to say that we are officially a platform and actually have software to run off of. This will be exponentially expanding as we continue to hire and build out the company. The reason I said thank you to Adam was due to the fact that Zeus was the primary capital partner of this organization, and three months in, he has not yet once complained that he hasn’t seen a dollar. Adam, I hope this will help you sleep all night.

Furthermore, we will also have a GNG AI, GNG forecasting tools, portfolio connectivity and tracking, and so much more.

The beautiful thing about this small, tight-knit community is that while you guys keep us afloat and supply us with the best job in the world, we get to sit here all day and come up with really neat, fascinating ideas on how we can help you in your journey.
