Welcome to GNG

Hey everyone, Connor here. If you don’t know me yet, I’m the person behind the scenes at GNG and previously DK. I started with Adam about two years ago as an intern, earned trust, kept taking on more, and now I’m the sole full stack developer and a co-founder of Graham and Galas Research. Safe to say I surprised even him.

This article is a simple walkthrough of what we’re building, what’s close, what’s a bit farther out, and how you can help. I’m going for full transparency, so you always know what’s going on.

Where we are right now

When you log in, you’ll notice everything is currently in the free tier. That’s on purpose. We want you to use the platform, kick the tires, and help us shape it. When paid tiers go live, you’ll be notified by email and in the app.

• GNG Enterprise

Each tier will have different usage limits and capabilities. For now, enjoy the free access while I keep shipping.

Quick reality check

I’m one person. There’s a lot built already, but some parts are still scrambled pieces waiting for me to fit them together. We also have another AI system built out on the backend that I was asked to wire up, debug, and beta test. We’re moving fast, and you’re part of the beta. There will be bugs. If you see issues, please report them in the right channels. That feedback matters.

And if at some point while I'm trying to get all systems organized and in place I break something (or everything) I apologize in advance. But don't worry! I'd say there's only a 10% chance of this happening. (I’m kidding unless it does actually happen).

Articles
Research posts live here. You can search, sort, and the newest will always sit at the top. Alerts for new articles will tie into Notifications once that piece is switched on. (Released - Obviously because you’re reading this)

Dashboard
Your home base for daily performance, portfolio snapshots, and the newest content. News pipes in as we expand. (Beta Expected by Friday, Oct 31st)

Portfolios
Track your holdings in real time as our coverage grows. We’re starting around 4,300 equities and I’m actively implementing ETFs. The long-term goal is broad coverage across NASDAQ and NYSE. (Beta Expected by Friday, Oct 31st - awaiting data license) Note we also plan to eventually implement plaid which would allow you to securely connect your brokerage for tracking your portfolio, This feature will be some time next year

Model Portfolios
You’ll be able to follow models like the Zeus Family Fund and turn on trade alerts in Notifications. If Notifications is not live on day one, it will be soon after. I’ll be upfront about status in the app. (Beta Expected by Friday, Oct 31st - awaiting data license)

GNG Discussion Board

Methodology Page
Once the other features, such as the Research Terminal and the Company Analysis search bar, are fully implemented in Live, I will go through and build up a methodology page to explain every formula and every feature that we have and the math behind it. This will be done probably the week following, assuming that no other larger issues pop up. 😂. (Beta Expected by Wednesday, Nov 3rd)

Company Search (detailed view and charts)
Search any stock, pull charts, overlay key valuation ratios across different time frames, surface earnings and dividend history, and quickly identify the metrics that matter. This is also where our AI reporting will live. (Beta Expected by Friday, Oct 31st - awaiting data license)

Research Terminal
The goal is reliable ratings and consistent coverage across our entire universe, automated on the backend so we can scale without cutting corners. (Beta Expected by Nov 7th-14th)

Notifications Center
We currently already have alerts in place for articles and model portfolio trade executions. These features have not been tested to the point where I'm comfortable releasing it. I assume I would have 100 or so people messaging me that they missed something. This is going to be an important one for us, so I am going to take my time eventually, we plan on having an entire system where you can even toggle alerts for personal portfolio notifications, summary reports, price movements, ect. (Beta Expected by Nov 28th - Dec 4th)

AI Reports
We plan to generate fresh reports daily or multiple times per day depending on usage and cost. I want to be fully transparent here. AI can get expensive at scale. We’ll tune frequency in a way that balances costs with how much you actually use it. The report will pull current market data, news, SEC filings, insider activity, and dividend information. It will read earnings transcripts and stitch everything together into a clear narrative using the methodology you’re used to. Basically, fast context with an opinion that’s grounded in data. Expected By (Beta Expected by Nov 21sth-28th)

Back Testing Suite
The goal here will be to have the ability for users to backtest buckets of stocks and even strategies that they wish to implement into their investing, and receive a comprehensive analysis of performance. (Expected By December 31st, 2025)

Real Time Options Pricing Tool
The goal is reliable ratings and consistent coverage across our entire universe, automated on the backend so we can scale without cutting corners. (Beta Expected by June 15th, 2026)

Licensing and data

We’re finalizing data licensing so we can display everything cleanly. End-of-day data comes first. Intra-day follows shortly after. If you see a blocker on an intra-day chart, that’s expected during this window. I’ll keep you posted in app.

Pricing for DK members

If you’re coming over from Dividend Kings, thank you. We intend to honor your legacy pricing. We don’t have everyone’s exact old rates, so we’re implementing a trust system. You’ll be able to select a discount for yourself in a promotions area to match what you were paying on a monthly or annualized basis. Please do not abuse this. We’re doing it because we appreciate you and want to make the transition easy.

Final thoughts

This is a real beta. I would normally wait until everything was perfectly production ready. But we want you involved now. Adam will be posting content regularly. I’ll be shipping constantly. I’m moving as fast as humanly possible, but sleep is still a thing. If something looks off, tell me. If something works great, tell me that too.

We’ll keep the platform free until we believe the value is clearly there. When paid tiers flip on, you’ll get plenty of notice. In the meantime, explore, break stuff, and send feedback. That is how we’ll build the best version of GNG.
