    Ulcer Index

    A drawdown-aware risk measure that captures both the depth and duration of underwater periods.

    The Ulcer Index is the root-mean-square of percentage drawdowns from the running peak. It penalizes long, painful underwater stretches more than a quick V-shaped dip.
