    About Jeremy Champagne

Jeremy Champagne is an analyst at Main Street Alpha. His work covers the physical economy (energy, mining, infrastructure, housing and industrials) and the mechanisms behind macro trends that most investors only notice once they reach the headlines.

Jeremy works as an industrial mechanic in the mining industry, maintaining and repairing the heavy equipment that keeps operations running. The job gives him a daily view of how the real economy actually runs: what breaks, what it costs to fix, and how long parts and people take to arrive. He brings that shop-floor lens to his research. He has used it to trace how drag-reducing agents and new pump stations squeeze more barrels through an existing pipeline, why construction productivity has stalled for half a century, and how the AI buildout is quietly being funded through convertibles and delayed dilution.

Jeremy began investing in 2022 and learned much of his craft by working through Leo’s research, often one long list of questions at a time in the comments. He was Main Street Alpha’s very first subscriber. His first article, a synthesis of the group’s core theses published days after MSA launched on Seeking Alpha, became a reference piece members still return to. He has since written on Canadian energy, the U.S. housing shortage and the hidden costs of Big Tech’s AI spending. He uses MSA’s TOLL+M framework to turn each thesis into specific ideas investors can act on.

Jeremy is French-Canadian and lives in rural Quebec.
