Bitwise Asset Management has announced a partnership with Superstate to introduce tokenized shares for some of its funds, beginning with the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL), pending regulatory approval. This initiative allows investors to hold fund shares as blockchain-based tokens or traditionally, aiming to modernize ownership while maintaining investor protections. The change primarily affects recordkeeping, not investor rights or the purchase process.

Bitwise Asset Management is partnering with Superstate to enable the tokenization of shares for certain Bitwise funds, starting with the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL). This initiative would allow investors to hold shares in tokenized form on a blockchain, with identical rights to traditional book-entry shares. The move is subject to legal and regulatory requirements, and there's no assurance as to when this option will become available.

An unnamed major bank is now offering clients the ability to borrow up to 25% of the value of their Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) holdings. This initiative marks a significant integration of traditional finance with crypto products, allowing investors to access liquidity without selling their Solana exposure. The BSOL ETF, launched in October 2025, provides direct exposure to Solana and compounds staking rewards.
