Panama City Commissioners have awarded a bid for the construction of the first 50 wet slips in the Downtown Marina to Art Marine, LLC, for approximately $2.9 million. The project will be financed by a prepayment of up to $5 million from the St. Joe company, avoiding interest on a FEMA loan. The St. Joe company will also manage the slips for up to five years, with a management agreement to be finalized.

The St. Joe Company has announced that lifestyle retailer Anthropologie will be opening an approximately 9,000-square-foot store at the Watersound Town Center. This new location will also feature an Anthropologie Weddings bridal shop.
